Practical driving tests are not held in dangerous weather conditions, eg when the roads are icy.
What to do if there's snow or ice
Call your test centre if there's snow or ice in your local area on the day of your test.
If a test can't go ahead
If a test can't go ahead because of bad weather, a new appointment date will usually be sent within 3 working days. This could take up to 7 days when the bad weather goes on for longer. You won't have to pay again.
You won't be able to claim for any out-of-pocket expenses when tests are cancelled because of bad weather.
Booking your driving lesson is not difficult, however, it's a good idea to have the right questions ready. Always ask up front, that way you can save a lot of money by avoiding substandard lessons.
