Will the examiner help me?
No, examiners are there to test you. They will give you directions so you can follow the chosen test route. In some cases, when approaching a complicated road layout for example, they may give a helpful hint.
If the examiner has to help you - you are not ready to take the test. Remember, your drive needs to be unaided.
