How do I book a driving test?

You can book your driving test over the phone between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday (Except Bank Holidays).

To book over the phone:

Practical English: 0300 200 1122
Practical Welsh: 0300 200 1133
Practical Minicom: 0300 200 1144

You can also book your driving test over the internet:

You will need the following details:

Your Theory Test certificate pass number
The driver number shown on your licence
Your personal details (name, address, phone number)
Driving School code number (if known)
Your preferred date
Any unacceptable dates
Any special circumstances or disability
Your card/payment details

You can book your test by post by obtaining application form DL26 from any DSA test centres. Complete the form and send it to the address on the back. Remember to apply well before the date you want and also give your preferred date.
